Meet
Dr. Dominique Fradin-Read
M.D., M.P.H., Board-Certified in Preventive and Anti-Aging Medicine Founder, VitaLifeMD
European education and medical training
At the age of 25, Dr. Dominique Fradin-Read opened her first practice in the South of France after graduating summa cum laude from medical school and finishing a residency in internal medicine at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. She soon understood that her true passions were prevention and anti-aging, and she decided to enhance her education in these fields by completing a two-year fellowship program in preventive and lifestyle medicine at France’s Aix-Marseille Université. Dr. Fradin-Read quickly became a leading advocate of preventive aging and regenerative medicine in Europe, adding yet another specialization later when she completed a fellowship in cardiovascular preventive medicine. She actively worked on the development of cardiovascular and metabolic prevention programs with the French Association of Cardiology and the French Committee for Health Promotion and Education. For several years she was associated with one of Europe’s major medical spas, serving both as its medical advisor and as a practicing anti-aging physician. She then had the opportunity to work in close collaboration with the French Chef Michel Guérard on weight loss treatments that emphasized the importance of a “Pleasurable Slimming Cooking Program."
Life in the U.S. and the start of VitaLifeMD
Dr. Fradin-Read completed an internship in Internal Medicine through UC San Francisco and a residency in Preventive Medicine at Loma Linda University where she concurrently earned a Master of Public Health degree and was elected a member of Delta Omega, the public health national honor society. Dr. Fradin-Read is board-certified in Preventive Medicine and, in addition, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She spent several years as a staff physician and a faculty member at the Center for Health Promotion in Loma Linda where she was actively involved in the lifestyle, hormone, and weight management program. She currently holds an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine.Around this same time, Dr. Fradin-Read served for several years as a consulting physician for the Murad Medical Group in El Segundo where she collaborated closely with renowned dermatologist Dr. Howard Murad to implement the new anti-aging concept of beauty from the inside out (the idea that, in order to look young and beautiful, we need to optimize general health).
Dr. Fradin-Read then worked as staff physician for several years at LifeSpan Medicine, an integrative medicine practice group in Santa Monica.
Finally, in 2015, she decided that it was time for her to achieve her dream of opening a practice in the U.S. where she could offer patients a broader spectrum of treatments. These now include wellness and preventive aging programs that combine lifestyle interventions, personalized internal supplementation and hormones supplementation, as well as innovative European rejuvenating therapies.
